Race Weekend – Round 5: Brands Hatch

Max’s racing pedigree comes from a family background- with both his father (John Lofthouse) and uncle (Mick Lofthouse) being competitive racers in their day. After a childhood full of dirt bikes and pillion riding, Max took to the track at 12 years old in the Aprillia Superteens Championship, of Casey Stoner and Lowes brothers fame. From there on out, Max followed an organic progression- a mixture of club racing and BSB support classes from the Thundersport Supertwins to the Ducati Tri-Options, Max has consistently found his way to the front, maintaining his momentum all the way into the class we find him in today.
Along his journey he has secured many achievements, with winning the No Limits Pirelli Super Series 1000 Championship being his most recent. From there? The next step is obvious: a place on the grid in the National Superstock, aboard the WMR Fireblade.
